Hi, I’m Liz.

With 15 years behind the camera, I’ve learned that capturing an image involves more than pressing the shutter button. It’s about creating a narrative, and framing a moment that speaks volumes.

My work is built on observing light, understanding the people in front of my lens, and anticipating the moment just before it happens. I work in available light wherever I can, at a relaxed pace, with plenty of room for whatever happens. The pictures people keep are rarely the arranged ones. They’re the belly laugh, the quiet look between two people who’ve known each other forever, the half-second after the ribbon falls.

I’m inspired by the simple joys of life illuminated by light, and I believe in letting go of the rules and remembering what it feels like to dance in the rain.
