It just seems appropriate that I follow up yesterdays blog post about our first day ofour trip that I should follow it up with our last day of our trip…. (and yes we are still in the car driving home – 5 more hours left) Life isn’t always in order so why should my blog posts be. It’s funny how back in the day, I was consumed by the gorgeous light that comes with sunrise and sunset and now I am hard pressed to even get the kids out at that time. Maybe it’s having 3 kids – maybe it’s because ones a tween and ones a “twoon” ( my 2 year old is who I am referring to -in case you are wondering) Or maybe it’s because I have learned to love all kinds of light regardless of the time. Lowlight, harsh light – Backlight – directional light… I LOVE it all. With that said – I did manage to pack everyone up to walk to the beach before we headed back to Texas – I may have had to say to them the day before “you kids need to get some real exercise – and the only time to run is first thing in the morning – because of the heat” – Well that worked – Hayden who is back to the Daily grind of Soccer this weekend – set his own alarm clock to wake himself up and Emerson got up … because he got up. No one had their hair brushed or made to be pretty… because that sounded like a beating to do at 6 AM… we packed up the towels and headed down with a sleepy 2 year old in tow..jpg "2016-07-15_0322.jpg")
