In high school this was my motto to do something I shouldn’t be doing… spending money I shouldn’t be spending… Today – I exclaimed “CARPE DIEM” – and put my errands on the back burner when we found the coolest splash park located behind a strip mall. We RAN into Old Navy – bought a $5.00 Bathing suit and We Carpe Diemed our afternoon away.
ACTIONS ONLY WORK WITH PHOTOSHOP CS3 – CS5
Use this action to sharpen your black and white photos- while sharpening it add that little pop of contrast that Black and Whites need. If you are feeling really crazy – use it on your backlit photos too…Just don’t use it on colored images – as it can alter the color slightly.
+++ This does NOT turn your photo black and white – head over to my actions and check out Black and White affair.
I said lets get dressed to go to the store… when I came downstairs she had her red tutu on. SWOOONNN went my girly girly heart – so I knew I needed to grab my camera. All images were shot at 1.4. I URGE everyone who are trying to learning how to shoot open and nailing your focus… Head over to your local grocery store. Since the lighting doesn’t change much you won’t really have to mess with your settings so you can focus (literally) on nailing your focus. ALSO – go to the higher end grocery stores like Whole foods and Market Street – their lighting resembles natual light much better then Wal-mart or lower end grocery stores.
Ok – so this California girl was a little lost on the Blubonnet Hype when I moved here. I mean TEXANS love their bluebonnets Ya’ll! This year I decided to run a little special. Since I don’t do the kind of Mini-Sessions where people line up and get the shoot done in 15 minutes. – It isn’t my style. I decided to offer up 5 spots where people book their own day. They get the last 30 minutes of the day so that EVERYONE gets to have the beauty of that golden light.
Here are some of my faves from our shoots.
