Oh my – could you just eat her up with a spoon. She is so cute and despite being caught in a rain storm.. (not really, just sprinklers) Mom and Dad were great sports and Breelee was full of smiles.

What an amazing family weekend we had and it all had to do with the rain.  Sessions were re-scheduled and soccer games were canceled and the LaBiancas relished in the peace and quiet. This weekend made me so excited for the Holidays. I actually cooked up dinner (which is a rarity these days) and brewed some apple cider. We did manage to get out for an hour to hit up our local pumpkin patch. With my trusty accessory in tow – I snapped up some of my favorite photos to date. No surprise that they are of my two favorite people.

There is no bigger compliment then when another local photographer hires you to take their family photos. When Jennifer Bardwell called me in the beginning of the summer to book her shoot – I was so honored and excited.  On one hand it can be more pressure-filled b.c you know that their expectations are different then the average family.   On the other hand – they understand lighting and posing – which can make my job easier. It was such a pleasure meeting the Bardwell family and I love what we captured. Such a beautiful family from the inside out…..now that is what true beauty is all about!

Ok – So I know that my 2 year old really wants to be Belle… But I just couldn’t help myself with the costumes this year. I knew I had one more year where I could convince Emerson that she really wanted to be the Batgirl to Haydens Batman. When the box arrived in the mail Emerson couldn’t wait to open her new pink outfit. Something I had never seen from my boy was this excitement for clothes. I know that this is probably a bad sign of things to come in our future… but it was pretty cute as she put on each accessory with an ohhhhhhh…. and an ahhhhh. As we headed to a halloween party – I made a quick trip to a field so that I could snap them as they tried to fly. My superheros – I hope that they never forget that they can fly.

I just was on facebook and saw what their new challenge was…HANDS!! My mind quickly jumped to this photo that I took last week during  a family session with a fellow photographer. Before our session – I asked her  send me a list of her “must” have photos . Apparently ,her daughter is fascinated with her hands and she wanted to make sure that somehow or another that moment was captured. So up on a stool I went and knew once I saw this image that in that moment I had captured a memory.

I don’t even know where to start with the amount of incredibly love that I have for this family. A year ago I stopped this pregnant lady and screamed out of my car that I was a photographer and if she wanted some maternity pics she should give me a call.She hired me … when I knew nothing… she hired me again when a knew a little more… but still knew nothing.  This woman has a heart so big, so generous  that at times it is hard to believe that someone can be “that”  awesome. .. but she is and so is the rest of her crew… INCLUDING you EMO Judy. I love that I was over at their house the other night and they were teaching my 2 year old Korean.  I  love this family with more then my heart can bare. Thank you to all the Parks for loving my family as if it was your own. What lessons I have learned and continue to learn on how to be a good friend and mother.

Ever since Hayden started school at Pink – All I have heard is… “ohhh do you know Mrs. .Poole – she is the best”…or…We have Mrs. Poole – she is the best teacher”. So towards the end of last year – her room mom approached me to see about getting her a gift card for her Teacher gift. Always admiring my photos – she had never hired a professional  to capture her sweet girl. So that is what we did this weekend and sweet Julia was simply precious. Such a cute tow head with the most beautiful  smile.
